Storyline is a 90 minute film anthology series, produced by Maryland Public Television, that curates topical, relevant and timely environmental films produced by independent filmmakers. The series went on for distribution with PBS, nationally. The full series includes five films about conservation topics from around the world. Episode 1, Waterman, was directed by Jess and features her grandfather Harry Davidson, local Chesapeake bay waterman and songwriter. The short film won best documentary short at the Chesapeake Film Festival and was an official selection at the D.C. Shorts Film Festival and Richmond International Film Festival. Jess is in development with a feature length film about her grandfather in partnership with MPT and PBS.
